STALK CHOPPER GEAR BOX, REAR TRANSMISSION

Stalk chopper boxes: the low absorption oil bath boxes are mounted in a lateral forward position with a high rotation speed: 2,600 rpm.

They are provided with two blades with carbide tungsten insert and their length allow for a wide cutting diameter which covers the whole length of the milking rollers.

The boxes can be easily mounted on the gathering units at any moment; the inverse operation (dismounting) is also possible.

The chopping mechanism can be at any moment activated / deactivated by means of a lever easy to reach; To avoid counter blows, they are equipped with free wheel.

Rear internal transmission: on foldable headers, the transmission is made of:

A double joint which is connected with a shaft to the combine power out take;
A double transmission chain with an adjustable turnbuckle;
An external support carter.
